Apple Creator Studio gets a huge update. AI, Pixelmator and Final Cut Pro brought even closer together.

Apple is expanding its tools for creators and placing an even greater emphasis on artificial intelligence. The company has announced a major update to the Apple Creator Studio suite, which brings dozens of new features for users of Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro and office apps. The changes are designed to speed up work on video, graphics and music while better integrating all the apps across the Apple ecosystem.

Final Cut Pro and Pixelmator Pro receive new AI features

The biggest changes have gone to Final Cut Pro, which has gained new features using artificial intelligence that runs locally on the device. The app can now automatically generate captions from the audio track and detect previous cuts in finished footage, which makes re-editing a project easier. An Auto Mask feature has also been introduced on Mac computers, automatically recognising elements in the image such as people, sky, hair or clothing, making editing and colour correction much simpler. Apple has also improved the colour-matching tools and clip trimming.

Major changes have also affected Pixelmator Pro. The app has been more tightly integrated with Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Pages and Numbers. Users can open images from those apps in Pixelmator Pro with a single click, edit them and automatically save the changes back to the project. Vector shape generation has also been added, along with new AI tools for creating graphics and a Content Hub library with ready-made assets for use in projects.

Logic Pro and the whole Apple ecosystem gain new capabilities

Apple has not forgotten music creators either. Logic Pro has received improved chord recognition, new features for the Beat Breaker tool and the Granular Alchemy Sound Pack. The most interesting addition, however, is the Producer Project app, which lets you look inside professional music projects and analyse how producers work.

The update also covers Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform, which have gained new editing features, additional effects and even better integration with Pixelmator Pro. Apple emphasises that the aim of the changes is to create a single, cohesive environment for creative work, where users can move seamlessly between video editing, graphic design, document creation and music production.
