Available screen sizes: 48”, 55”, 65”, 77”, 83”

Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

BRAVIA 6 can deliver a lot of viewing pleasure, especially in the evening when the advantages of the OLED panel are most visible. Deep blacks, good contrast and natural colours after calibration make it easy to appreciate its picture with the right material. It also performs well with consoles: it’s smooth and responds quickly to controller input. It’s nice to see four full HDMI 2.1 ports, a decis...

Technology: LCD IPS, White LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 2 II is a TV that’s best suited to simple, everyday use. And we suspect many people will pick it mainly for Google TV. The system gives access to a huge number of apps and streaming services, and you also get Chromecast, AirPlay and convenient voice search. The TV itself may not run as fast as pricier Sony models, but in terms of functionality there’s little to complain about. Impo...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 3 II is a TV where you can quickly see what the manufacturer had in mind for this model. It’s meant above all to be a sensible Bravia for gaming, and in that respect the changes are quite significant. Sony has finally fixed one of the biggest headaches of its TVs, namely having only two full HDMI 2.1 ports. This one has four, and that alone makes the Bravia 3 II a much more conveni...

Available screen sizes: 50”, 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, 98”

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED RGB

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 7 II is a TV that shows RGB Mini-LED doesn't have to be reserved only for the wealthiest buyers. And although in a few places it’s clear it sits below the Bravia 9 II, in everyday use it doesn't feel like a heavily stripped-down model. The biggest thing here is the combination of very good black levels, high brightness and Sony's excellent algorithms. That makes the picture dramatic, w...

Technology: LCD VA, RGB MINI-LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 9 II is without a doubt one of the most advanced televisions that have ever passed through our editorial office. Sony has created a real monster by using a completely new RGB Mini-LED backlight design, which they call True RGB. But the technology alone is only half the story. Only combined with Sony's finely tuned, years-in-the-making image processing algorithms has a television emerge...

Available screen sizes: 43”, 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”

Technology: LCD IPS, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 3 is a television that brings several important improvements over its predecessor while still staying true to its core. The biggest change is the design – slim bezels and sturdy metal legs make it look modern and fit much better in a living room than the X75WL. The improved colours thanks to the PFS filter and really good upscaling are also a plus. It is particularly with lower-quality...

Available screen sizes: 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, 98”

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 5 is the continuation of the iconic X90L model, and it's clear that the manufacturer aimed to take a step forward. A greater number of backlighting zones have been implemented, which makes the contrast seem better in many scenes, with deeper blacks than its predecessor. The 120 Hz panel and MotionFlow system allow you to tailor the fluidity of the image to your own preferences – from a...

Technology: QD-OLED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 8 II is without doubt a worthy successor to the A95L — refined, extremely versatile and with several clear improvements over its predecessor. Picture quality, sound and the overall user experience place this model among the top premium TVs of 2025. It’s a set that can wow both film buffs and demanding gamers. One of its biggest strengths is an almost perfect image, where the XR process...

Technology: QD-OLED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony A95L is a TV that has made a huge impression on us. Although a year has passed since its launch, it still deserves a spot among the best models on the market. When it comes to picture quality, it's simply brilliant. Deep blacks, vibrant colours, and excellent brightness in HDR make everything look incredibly realistic. The QD-OLED panel does its job – movies and games look so good that at tim...

Verdict:

Sony X85L is a model from 2023 that will continue to be available in the 2024 range from the Japanese manufacturer. Its biggest advantage is the Google TV system. It currently provides the greatest access to applications, so we don’t have to worry about missing any of our favourite apps. The intuitive interface and voice control feature using Google Assistant make daily use of the television conve...
