Xbox decided to celebrate its 25th anniversary not only with memories but also with new accessories. The company unveiled the Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary Collection, which strongly references the look of the first-generation console. The most distinctive element is the transparent green colour scheme, reminiscent of the brand's early days. The set includes, among other things, a mouse, keyboard, headset, docking station and accessories for mobile devices.
The classic Xbox returns in modern accessories
One of the most interesting products is the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K in a special Xbox 25 Anniversary Edition. It's a wireless gaming mouse equipped with the Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2. The maker also fitted a four-way scroll wheel and claims wireless operation for up to 140 hours. Joining the collection is the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%, a compact mechanical keyboard with hot-swappable switches. The model features Razer Chroma RGB lighting and a special Xbox button that launches Game Bar. Gamers may also be interested in the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds. These are wireless in-ear buds using HyperSpeed Wireless technology and Bluetooth 5.3. Their combined battery life with the case reaches 35 hours. Another item in the collection is a transparent green 8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock for Xbox controllers. There's also a special Backbone Pro Xbox version, which will be available in three anniversary colours, but buyers won't know which variant they'll get until they open the box. It's precisely that collectible nature that could quickly catch the interest of original Xbox fans.

The collection is not limited to gaming hardware. PowerA has produced an Xbox Sling Bag designed, among other things, for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. The bag has several compartments for gear, headphones, a controller, a phone and extra accessories. Also coming is the GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox in a translucent green anniversary edition. The controller is aimed at mobile gaming and works with both iOS and Android devices. The accessory also carries an official Xbox licence and Apple MFi certification. The whole collection is primarily meant to recall the brand's beginnings and the distinctive look of the original Xbox. Pre-orders for all announced products have already started. Prices for individual items vary by manufacturer and specific model. So Xbox is marking its 25th anniversary with a strong focus on nostalgia while using modern hardware.
