Alienware has started selling its new monitor, AW3226Q, in the US. It's a 31.5-inch OLED with a new RGB Tandem design, 4K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. The price is US$699.99 (roughly 2,700 PLN), which for a large OLED monitor of this class is a pretty good price.
RGB tandem OLED and up to 1000 nits
AW3226Q uses an RGB stripe tandem OLED panel. Instead of the subpixel layout typical of some OLEDs, the manufacturer employs a full RGB subpixel arrangement, which is intended to improve, among other things, colour purity and text legibility. Dell also claims 99% DCI-P3 coverage and out-of-the-box colour accuracy of Delta E < 2. The monitor runs at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 165 Hz, with a quoted response time of 0.03 ms GtG. Standard brightness is 250 nits, while in HDR the manufacturer quotes a peak of up to 1000 nits. It also supports Dolby Vision and holds the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
