New 4K Blu-ray player will play discs from multiple regions. It supports Dolby Vision.

A new 4K Blu-ray player from Laser has appeared on the market. The BLU-BD4K-384 model may be of particular interest to people who collect foreign film releases. The unit supports Blu-ray and DVD discs from multiple regions and also plays 4K content. For now it is available for pre-order exclusively in Australia.

Dolby Vision, but no HDR10+

The Laser BLU-BD4K-384 plays Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. The manufacturer also included support for high-resolution audio and playback of media files from USB. However, the specs do not include support for HDR10+. It has a single HDMI port, an Ethernet port and a USB port. The player lacks Wi‑Fi, so the internet connection is wired.

Only Australia for now

The Laser BLU-BD4K-384 is available for pre-order in Australia for A$499.95 (PLN 1,350 at a simple conversion). The manufacturer expects sales to begin in November 2026. There is currently no information about the device's launch in Poland or its European price.

For collectors, the new player could be an interesting option. The ability to play discs from different regions makes it easier to use imported film releases that cannot be played on standard region-locked players.
