Cronos: The New Dawn – Bloober Team’s new IP. The live-action trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 version highlights the atmosphere and emotions of this sci-fi survival game.

Bloober Team isn't slowing down. The studio, which has made a name for itself in recent years mainly through psychological horror games, has decided to open a completely new chapter and create its own IP – Cronos: The New Dawn. Since its release, the game has received positive reviews both in Poland and abroad, and now it has seen another strong marketing push. The latest live-action trailer is exactly the kind of promotion expected from new brands – dynamic, emotional, and built to create an atmosphere that will attract more players.

If you're looking for the perfect and affordable television for consoles, check out our suggestions – we've put together a ranking of models that also perform best in gaming.

What is Cronos: The New Dawn?

This is not another horror from Bloober. The creators have opted for an ambitious sci-fi adventure with survival and narrative RPG elements. The game's action is set in a distant future, where humanity stands on the brink of a new era of colonisation. The player arrives on a mysterious planet, whose beauty quickly gives way to unease – the world is filled not only with exotic fauna and flora but also with dangers that require quick decisions, cunning, and resource management.

The plot emphasises moral choices – each decision can have far-reaching consequences for the further development of the story. It's a mix of narrative typical of Bloober Team with a new form of gameplay, where exploration, relationships with other survivors, and the fight for survival matter.

Versions for all platforms – including Nintendo Switch 2

Cronos: The New Dawn was designed from the ground up for the new generation of consoles and PC. The production has made its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers, but the Polish team has also prepared a release for Nintendo Switch 2. It is this version that is the focus of the latest live-action trailer.

The material shows a woman playing on a handheld console, interspersing scenes from daily life with gameplay snippets. This allows the viewer to not only see how the title looks on the Switch 2 but also to receive a clear message – it's a game that can be taken anywhere, without losing atmosphere or dynamics.

Live-action as a Model for Promotion

The trailer itself is a great example of how to promote a new IP. Instead of the standard gameplay compilation, we get a story rooted in the real world that highlights the emotions associated with gaming. It's not just an advertisement for a console, but also building the game's brand and bringing its atmosphere beyond the screen.

It may seem that the release of such material now is a conscious decision – the premiere was long ago, but Bloober Team is still maintaining interest in the title and reminding us that Cronos: The New Dawn is a project that has the potential to become one of the most important Polish brands in the gaming world.
