Panasonic dispels concerns about its future in the U.S. TV market. After earlier reports that Chinese Skyworth would take over production, sales and marketing of Panasonic TVs in North America, questions arose about whether the Japanese brand would pull out of the region again. The latest announcement, however, shows something completely different. Panasonic, together with Skyworth, has just unveiled an expanded TV lineup for 2026 that includes as many as six series.

Panasonic expands its TV lineup in the U.S.

In 2026, Panasonic's U.S. lineup will include the flagship OLED Z95B, which will remain on sale, as well as five new series. Among them are the lifestyle W87C, the W85C equipped with a QD-Mini LED panel, and the more affordable W80C, W75C, and S65C. This increases the offering from the two series available in 2025 to six models for 2026. Panasonic also plans to use several different Smart TV platforms. Depending on the model, users will get Fire TV, Google TV, or Roku TV. This also shows that the company is at least partially keeping a similar TV lineup in Europe and North America.

One of the more interesting new models is the Panasonic W87C, the company's first U.S. TV focused on stylish looks. The model uses an Art Time feature that lets the screen display decorative content when turned off, making it resemble a piece of interior decor. The W87C will be available in the United States as a 55-inch model, priced at $600. Panasonic is therefore targeting people who, in addition to picture quality, also care about how the TV looks in the living room.

Mini-LED and cheaper models in the lineup

However, Panasonic is not limiting itself to pricier models. The W85C series will get QD-Mini LED technology and will be available in 55, 65 and 75-inch sizes. The price of the 55-inch variant will start at $550. Lower down in the lineup are the W80C, W75C and S65C series. The W80C will offer diagonals from 43 up to 85 inches, the W75C will be available in a 55-inch size, and the S65C will go on sale in 32-, 40- and 43-inch variants. For now, Panasonic has not announced plans to introduce the more affordable Z85C/Z86C OLED TVs to the U.S.; they are available in other markets.

Panasonic/Skyworth

The new lineup is a clear sign that Panasonic has no intention of leaving the U.S. TV market again. Together with Skyworth, the company has expanded the number of available series and will offer models spanning OLED, Mini-LED, and more affordable LCD designs. Prices for the new TVs start at $550 for the 55-inch W85C, while the lifestyle W87C costs $600. The flagship Z95B will remain the top-tier model in the U.S. lineup.
