
Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for sale on June 5–6, 2025. Price? The base version is 450 dollars, and in Poland for about 2199 zł, while the edition with Mario Kart World included costs 2399 zł, depending on the region. The console still remains a hybrid – you can connect it to the TV, but you can also easily take it on the go. This time, however, we are getting a more powerful device that will support games in 4K on TV, up to 120 fps in 1080p, and with HDR onboard.
Games at Launch: A Mix of New Releases and Proven Hits
On launch day, Nintendo confirmed a solid lineup of games. Alongside the mentioned Mario Kart World, there will also be Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Hogwarts Legacy, Street Fighter 6, and Fortnite, among others. Additionally, several classics from GameCube will appear, including The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, and Soulcalibur II.
Interestingly, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will receive optimized versions at launch. The rest of the games will receive updates later, including Super Mario Odyssey, Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Xbox on board? Sony says no!
Microsoft has confirmed that some Xbox games will be coming to Switch 2. These include titles like Diablo IV, Halo: Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty, and even Microsoft Flight Simulator – although without hard dates. Meanwhile, Sony is sticking with PlayStation and PC.
Summary? The launch of Switch 2 looks really solid – both for those returning to classics and gamers looking for new experiences. However, it's worth noting that Nintendo has simultaneously... raised game prices. Some will cost even up to 90 euros.
