Free hits on Xbox. You can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Diablo IV for free.

The weekend is the perfect time to try new games without spending any money. Microsoft has once again put together a Free Play Days promotion that lets players try several high-profile titles completely free. Among them are both major hits and smaller indie games. Some games are available to all Xbox users, while others require an active Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or Essential subscription. It's a great opportunity to find out whether it's worth purchasing the full versions of these titles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Diablo IV available for free

The main attraction of this edition of Free Play Days is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The title can be tried for free by all Xbox users from July 2 to July 6. During the trial players get access to multiplayer and Zombies. You can play on more than 45 maps, including new locations added in Season Four. Popular game modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination are also available. The other big release is Diablo IV, which can be tested until July 7. Blizzard has made the full campaign available, with the ability to level characters up to level 30. A new season, Death Awakening, also launched during the free period, with additional activities and rewards. All progress will carry over if you purchase the game after the trial. Microsoft also encourages taking advantage of limited-time promotions that let you buy Diablo IV at a 40% discount. It's one of the most interesting deals for fans of action and RPGs in recent weeks.

Indie games were also included

The Free Play Days offer also includes several smaller titles. Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers until July 5. The game lets players explore a mysterious island, build their own base, develop a farm, and cooperate with other players online. Meanwhile, Demonschool and The Stone of Madness can be tried via two-hour trials. The first of these is a tactical RPG featuring battles with demons, while the second focuses on stealth and escaping from an 18th-century monastery. All games covered by the promotion can then be purchased at reduced prices. Achievements and saved progress are preserved, allowing players to seamlessly continue playing after the free period ends. Microsoft regularly runs similar promotions, offering the chance to try new titles at no extra cost.

The new edition of Free Play Days brings several very strong offerings, led by Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Diablo IV. In addition, players can check out indie titles and take advantage of attractive discounts on full-game purchases. It’s a great opportunity to try new titles over the weekend without any extra cost.
