However, the S95F is primarily about spectacular picture quality: it offers incredible brightness that easily exceeds 2000 nits, and it delights with perfect colours thanks to the latest generation QD-OLED panel. User convenience is further enhanced by the characteristic feature of Samsung's flagships – the external One Connect Box module, which allows for aesthetic cable management. Conscious Purchase of Samsung OLED Televisions
The buyer must be aware that the Samsung OLED series 2025 is subject to a panel lottery policy. This means that depending on the diagonal and distribution, within the same model (e.g., S90F), we may find a WOLED panel or proprietary QD-OLED. These two technologies differ in their subpixel structure: QD-OLED has an RGB (triangular) arrangement, providing better colour saturation at high brightness, while WOLED has an RGBW (with an additional white subpixel) arrangement designed to boost overall brightness.
How to Recognise the Type of Panel?
Camera Test (The Most Reliable Method): Zoom in with your phone on a white area of the screen. If you see a triangular subpixel arrangement, you are dealing with QD-OLED. If you see vertical RGBW stripes, it is WOLED.
Model Number Analysis (When Purchasing Online): Check the two letters after the year letter "F":
S90F/S95F: The suffix FAT indicates QD-OLED; FAE indicates WOLED.
S85F: The suffix FAU indicates QD-OLED; FAE indicates WOLED.
