Samsung has officially unveiled the world's first 130-inch Micro RGB television. The R95H model debuted at CES 2026 and is the largest Micro RGB screen in the company's history, setting a new direction in terms of image quality and design in the ultra-premium segment.
As highlighted by Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Micro RGB is the pinnacle of Samsung's image technology. The new model aims to reference the original design philosophy of the company from over a decade ago, combining top-of-the-line technology with a form that itself becomes an element of interior decor.
Design that Transforms the Television into an Element of Architecture
The 130-inch Micro RGB stands out with its monumental scale and new approach to design. Samsung intentionally designed it to resemble not a classic television but a vast, immersive "window" that optically enlarges the space. It features the Timeless Frame – a modern interpretation of the Timeless Gallery concept from 2013. The slim, sophisticated frame inspired by architecture gives the impression that the screen is floating in its casing. The television simultaneously serves as an artistic centre for the living room, and the sound integrated with the frame has been precisely tailored to the screen size, ensuring that the image and audio create a cohesive whole.
Micro RGB at its best
The new model utilises the most advanced Micro RGB solutions that Samsung has developed so far. The image processing is handled by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, supported by the Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro. AI algorithms improve colour saturation, contrast, and details in both bright and very dark scenes, ensuring a high level of image realism.
The television offers Micro RGB Precision Color 100, meaning 100% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space. The accuracy of colour reproduction has been certified by VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik), confirming precise colour control and their natural appearance. Additionally, Glare Free technology has been employed to reduce reflections and enhance image readability in various lighting conditions.
AI, sound and next-generation features
The 130-inch Micro RGB supports the HDR10+ ADVANCED standard and the Eclipsa Audio system, providing an even better audiovisual experience. It also features an improved Vision AI Companion, which enables conversational search, intelligent recommendations, and access to AI-based functions and applications.
Among them are AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, as well as integrations with Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. Samsung announces that the new model is to be not just a screen but a hub of smart entertainment and information. The 130-inch Micro RGB television will be showcased in Samsung's exhibition area during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. This is a demonstration of the company's technological capabilities and a clear signal of the direction in which Samsung intends to develop the segment of the most exclusive televisions.
