Samsung has expanded its range of OLED monitors with three new models aimed at gamers and power users. The headline model is the G73SH, which is the company's first monitor to use a WOLED panel produced by LG Display. Alongside it, two G80SH models have been introduced, featuring fourth‑generation QD‑OLED panels. All the monitors offer 4K resolution and modern ports. The manufacturer also provides a two‑year warranty covering panel burn‑in.
Samsung uses an LG Display WOLED panel for the first time
The biggest new product in this year’s lineup is the Samsung G73SH. It is the manufacturer’s first monitor equipped with a WOLED panel supplied by rival LG Display. The device offers a 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution, a 165 Hz refresh rate and the ability to run at 330 Hz when switched to Full HD. The monitor supports the HDR10+ Gaming standard and is primarily designed for gamers. Samsung has also applied a matte screen finish and offers a two-year warranty covering potential OLED burn-in. Using an LG Display panel shows that the two Korean firms are collaborating more often despite years of rivalry. A similar situation already exists with Samsung’s OLED TVs, which use both QD-OLED and WOLED panels. According to industry reports, LG also plans to introduce a monitor with a QD-OLED panel in the future. The manufacturers’ cooperation is intended to help them compete more effectively with growing competition from China.
G80SH offers 4K, 240 Hz and modern connectivity
Samsung also unveiled two G80SH models, available in 27-inch and 32-inch versions. Both use fourth-generation QD-OLED panels and offer 4K resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate. The monitors are fitted with HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1 with 80 Gb/s bandwidth and a USB-C port with 98 W charging. The manufacturer has also implemented HDR10+ Gaming support and a matte screen finish that reduces reflections. All new models come with a two-year warranty that also protects against OLED panel burn-in. Samsung says launch prices are high, but as in previous years large discounts can be expected during sales, notably around Black Friday. The new models join Samsung's wide range of OLED monitors, covering devices from 2024, 2025 and 2026.
