Philips says “no” to smaller OLEDs in the UK!

Philips OLED TVs 2025 – no smaller models in the UK, full size range still in Poland. Check OLED810 prices and availability in stores.

Philips does not intend to introduce smaller sizes of its new OLED810 model to the British market. Only the 77-inch version will be available in the UK, despite the fact that back in January the company announced that the OLED810 would also be available in 42", 48" and 55" variants. These smaller models - as it turns out - will only be available on the continent.

OLED810? In the UK only in XXL size

OLED810 is a mid-range television, positioned below the more advanced OLED910 and OLED950 series. Philips positions it as competition for players like LG C5, Panasonic Z90B, or Samsung S90F. The decision to limit the available sizes may, however, suggest that the brand has rather cautious ambitions in the mid-tier OLED segment – at least in the Isles.

This is not entirely surprising – a month earlier, the company only revealed the price of the 77" model (which is £2,199), omitting the smaller versions. Now it’s clear why – they simply won’t be available in the UK.

WhatHiFi, which was the first to report this information, suggests that Philips sees no point in offering smaller OLED810s, since they sell the budget model OLED760 in similar sizes. Interestingly, this cheaper television has four HDMI 2.1 ports, while the more expensive OLED810 has only two – so it’s not entirely clear who this model is actually “better” for.
