A leak from Samsung's parts database has revealed an interesting change. The company is skipping the "G" series altogether and in 2026 will move directly to the "H" designations. This means one thing – the top OLEDs will be named Samsung S95H, S90H, and S85H. The information was first reported by FlatpanelsHD. For now, we do not know what specific improvements will be included in next year's OLEDs, but we do know the list of model parts and sizes.
Samsung S95H – new flagship
In 2026, the flagship series will be S95H, available in sizes 65, 77, and 83 inches. This year's S95F also came in a 55-inch version, but this has not yet appeared in the database. It is possible that it will be added later or that Samsung is forgoing the smallest variant. It is worth noting that the 83-inch S95F uses a WOLED panel from LG Display, rather than a QD-OLED from Samsung Display. In 2024, the database anticipated a QD-OLED 83” variant, which ultimately never made it to market. This, however, suggests that S95H 83” may already feature QD-OLED, which many would consider a better solution.
Samsung S90H – the most sizes
The widest selection will be offered by S90H. In the range, we will find models of 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, and 83 inches. In the S90F series, there was a so-called panel lottery – some models had WOLED, while others had QD-OLED, depending on the size.
– 42”, 48”, 83” – always WOLED
– 55”, 65”, 77” – WOLED or QD-OLED
It is unknown whether Samsung will repeat this mix of panels in 2026, but given the large orders for WOLEDs from LG Display, it is very likely.
Samsung S85H – basic OLED - the S85H series is still the entry-level segment. Four sizes appear in the range: 55, 65, 77, and 83 inches.
New Names for Mini-LED and Micro-LED
FlatpanelsHD has also discovered new trade names registered by Samsung, which will likely be used for Mini-LED and RGB-LED televisions. The company has secured the names:
– "Neo mini LED"
– "Neo Micro RGB"
– "Neo UHD"
Samsung is likely aiming to simplify and clarify the naming convention. The current Mini-LEDs from 2025 are called "Neo QLED," although the name itself does not clearly indicate the technology. The shift to "Neo mini LED" aligns with a trend initiated by TCL and Hisense.
"Neo Micro RGB," on the other hand, will likely be used for new and existing Micro LED models with full RGB.
