Apple is launching a new subscription and sorting out warranties. Just don't count on being able to use it in Poland!

Calendar 7/24/2025

The new AppleCare One subscription covers up to 3 Apple devices. See how it works and whether it’s worth choosing over a standard warranty.

Apple does not hide the fact that the biggest money today is not made from iPhones, but from services. Subscriptions are gold for them – a stable income every month, without production costs. That is why they have launched another idea: AppleCare One. And no, it is not another package for "extended warranty with a star." It is a thoughtful combo – part insurance, part service support, part convenience for those who have more than one Apple device and do not want to deal with separate paperwork and invoices.

Apple no longer solely sells hardware. Subscriptions are their new gold mine

The service launched today, but (as usual) only in the United States. For $19.99 a month (around £72), users can cover three devices - for example, an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook. Interestingly, they do not need to be the latest models - as long as the hardware is less than 4 years old and in good condition. Each additional device in the package costs an extra $5.99 (£22). Simple, clear, without complications. And in countries where Apple Stores operate - it works really well. Not like here, where the service can be... varied.

Three devices, one price. And even older models are included

AppleCare One is an extension of AppleCare+. The latter is the already well-known warranty extension – including unlimited repairs for accidental damage or optional protection against theft and loss. The only difference is that now you don't have to purchase separate coverage for each device – you have one subscription and everything under control. It's ideal for those who don't want to pay several hundred pounds again for a cracked screen. Especially in the USA, where those 20 dollars a month isn't a fortune.

But not in Poland. Here we still have glass and cases from Allegro

It's just that... not with us. AppleCare+ in Poland still does not officially work, and AppleCare One – well, even less so. You can at most purchase the service abroad and hope that it will be honoured, but you can't buy it in zlotys. And there is no indication that this will change. So if you are counting on protection for your equipment straight from Apple – you'd better pack your suitcase. Or continue buying glass, cases, and hope for the best.
