Anker came up with a really crazy but brilliant idea – he created a device that combines a powerful party speaker on wheels and a 4K laser projector. The result? A device capable of projecting a huge image onto any surface while pumping out bass that can be heard from afar.
Unveiled at the IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin, the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro is a combination of the customised Soundcore speaker and the popular Nebula X1 projector, which debuted in April and quickly gained a reputation as one of the brightest portable 4K projectors on the market.
Looks like R2D2, plays like a home cinema
The whole thing looks more like a small robot than a typical multimedia device. In a vertical housing on wheels, there is the Nebula X1 projector and a pair of 5.25” wireless subwoofers with 80 W power each, which can be spread out to the sides. The equipment supports wireless surround sound, and the bass is said to be truly powerful.
Moreover, the Nebula X1 Pro is the first portable projector that simultaneously supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Also included are two wireless rear speakers of 40 W each, which, when placed around the viewer, create a fuller, more cinematic experience. And when there’s no movie, the equipment simply functions as a powerful Bluetooth speaker.
3500 ANSI lumens and LaserForge 2.0
The heart of the set is the same projector as in the Nebula X1 – featuring the LaserForge 2.0 technology based on a triple 4K laser. It offers a brightness of 3500 ANSI lumens, coverage of 110% of the Rec.2020 colour gamut, a native contrast ratio of 5000:1, and a dynamic contrast of up to 56,000:1. Additionally, it includes AI features that facilitate image setup: automatic size adjustment, focus, adaptive brightness, and contrast.
Equipment on Wheels for 20,000 Zlotys
The whole thing weighs a hefty 33 kg, but thanks to the sturdy wheels and retractable handle, it can be easily transported. The casing is resistant to splashes and dust (IP43), so the equipment should perform well outdoors as well.
Anker plans to launch a campaign on Kickstarter in September. Price? From $4,000 to $5,000 (approx. 16,000–20,000 zlotys / £2,970–£3,685). The first units are expected to reach backers a bit earlier, but the retail premiere is scheduled for March 2026.
