In the USA, Xbox Series S jumps from $299 to $379, Series X from $499 to $599, and the limited edition 2TB Galaxy Black skyrockets from $599 to $729. Europe? Not much better — Series S from 299.99 € to 349 €, Series X from 499.99 € to 599.99 €.

It doesn't stop at the consoles – Microsoft is raising prices for accessories and games as well, and it’s enough for gamers to feel it quite realistically in their wallets. The Xbox Wireless Controller now costs $64.99 instead of $59.99, and the Xbox Wireless Headset jumps from $99.99 to $119.99. Just a few dollars, but when converted to zlotys… it gets hot.
And that’s not the end. First-party games are also going up. In the USA, they jump to $79.99, while in Europe they can cost as much as 90 euros. In short: the impulse to buy might have to wait. For many gamers, this means fewer launches at the start, more strategising with promotions, and even greater importance for Game Pass.

The price increase from Microsoft fits into a broader trend — everything is getting more expensive.
