Dreame, a giant in the market for upright vacuum cleaners and robotic cleaners, is officially debuting in stores with its TELEVISIONS. The S100 and Q100 models are already on sale, and the brand's strategy is clear: an aggressive price attack while maintaining specifications that cost significantly more with competitors. This is not a random move – Xiaomi, a significant shareholder in Dreame, similarly attacked the television market some time ago.
Dreame S100: Mini-LED, QLED, 4.1.2 70W
Model S100 is a showcase of the manufacturer’s strength in Mini-LED technology. In the most popular 65-inch variant, we get 160 zones for local dimming. Although this number is not a record, combined with the quantum coating QLED+ (93% DCI-P3 coverage), it is meant to ensure solid contrast and vibrant colours.
In terms of HDR, Dreame focuses on practically all current standards. We have support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. The manufacturer does not mention anything about new standards like Dolby Vision 2, concentrating instead on what we will actually use today in popular VOD services.
The real standout feature of the S100 might be the audio system. 4.1.2 sound system with 70W power featuring four tweeters and a subwoofer that goes down to 45 Hz is a specification that outclasses most competitors at this price point right from the start. This is one of the few "affordable" TVs that likely won’t require the purchase of a soundbar right away.
For gamers, a 144 Hz (VRR) panel, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and an input lag of below 10 ms have been prepared. Visually, the equipment references the brand's DNA, as it is finished with distinctive gold accents.
The Dreame S100 model will be available from February 13 in 2 sizes: 55 and 65 inches. The 75" will be available at a later date (exact date unknown).
Dreame Q100: Google TV and 120Hz?
The Q100 model is a proposal for the less demanding, based on a classic LCD QLED panel without a local dimming system. This will result in weaker blacks and lower contrast compared to the S100, but a strong point of the device, apart from its low price, remains the Google TV system. This guarantees access to all key applications, which is a safe and accurate choice with the entry of a new brand into the market.
However, the biggest controversy surrounds the issue of refresh rates. Although official specifications and store cards mention native 120 Hz, promotional brochures use the term “120 Hz HSR MEMC”. This suggests software-based enhancement of fluidity from a base of 60 Hz to 120 Hz (using so-called smoothers). Are we dealing with a natively fast 120 Hz panel, or is it a marketing trick? The final answer will only come from our tests, which will verify the actual parameters of this panel.
The Dreame Q100 model will be available from February 13 in 2 sizes: 43 and 55 inches

When are the first tests of ChooseTV?
ChooseTV enters the game without complexes, offering hardware that theoretically stands on its own on paper. If the software quality keeps up with the strong specifications (which is often not a given with new Chinese brands), there could be a significant reshuffle in the RTV market. Soon, we'll check how the S100 and Q100 models perform in practice. Let us know if you'd like to see tests of ChooseTVs on our site!
