85-inch Samsung TVs – Test Rankings

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Frame Pro 2026 makes the most sense when you want a TV that looks good in the living room and isn’t just another large black slab on the wall. And here Samsung still does something most manufacturers can’t match. Flush mounting, interchangeable bezels, Art Mode, a matte finish and the wireless One Connect mean that when The Frame Pro is hung correctly it can really look more like a piece of de...

Verdict:

The M80H shows its strengths where motion matters most. A fast panel, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and relatively low motion blur make sports and fast-paced games look really good. In this respect the TV can even beat some significantly more expensive Samsung LCD models. Gamers also get low input lag, three full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, and Game Motion Plus, which can improve the smoothness of...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED RGB

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Samsung R85H is above all a very versatile TV that works well in almost any situation. You can put it in a bright living room, hook up a console, watch a movie or series in the evening, and use regular broadcast TV every day, and each time you’ll get a good-quality picture. It may not make as strong an impression in the first minutes as Samsung’s best OLEDs, but it’s hard to point to a single ...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED RGB

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung R95H is a TV that primarily demonstrates that the classic LCD still has plenty to offer. Micro RGB is not just a marketing name here — in the right scenes it really can make a difference. When the screen shows solid, highly saturated colors, especially reds and greens, the R95H can render them with an intensity that’s hard to find in typical Mini-LED TVs. Add very deep blacks and high HDR ...

Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung S85H is a very successful continuation of the S85 series and a TV that still performs its main role well: to be an affordable entry into the world of OLEDs. The biggest change from its predecessor is the use of LG Display's new OLED SE panel, but the overall character of this model remains practically unchanged. Its greatest strengths are still perfect blacks, very high contrast and a pict...

Verdict:

Samsung S90H is a TV that simply makes a spectacular impression. The combination of OLED's absolute blacks, high brightness, and excellent motion sharpness delivers a picture that's hard to look away from. And that's exactly what we expect from a good OLED TV. The matte anti-reflective coating also works very well. Reflections on a sunny day stop being a major problem, and thanks to the presence o...

Technology: QD-OLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Samsung S99H is probably the best OLED TV we’ve tested so far, and certainly the best Samsung OLED in years. In terms of picture quality it’s really hard to find a weak point. Black levels are perfect, as you’d expect from an OLED panel, and HDR performance impresses with brightness and color saturation. Using a QD-OLED panel delivers an image that in many scenes looks almost reference-grade. ...

Verdict:

The Samsung QN80H is a very successful mid-range TV, and in our view that's exactly how it should be seen. Not as a new Neo QLED flagship, but as the first model in Samsung's lineup that gives a clear taste of better picture quality. Full Mini LED backlighting, high brightness, and well-saturated colors mean that for someone moving up from a regular LCD TV the difference can be significant. A huge...

Verdict:

The Samsung S85F in the tested version with a WOLED panel is a television that should primarily be evaluated through the lens of its price. As expected from organic technology, it offers perfect, almost ideal black and infinite contrast in cinematic conditions. This feature alone will impress most buyers, especially those transitioning from any LCD television. However, it cannot be denied that in ...

Samsung The Frame Pro 2025 is a television that brings a breath of freshness to the lifestyle model segment. Its design takes center stage – a symmetrical frame, the ability to easily change decorative frames, and above all, the image effect on the wall thanks to the matte coating and special mount. In everyday use, it makes a great impression, and the Art Store feature combined with the high brig...
