Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: LG

Verdict:

The LG C6 is a very successful evolution of one of the most popular OLEDs on the market. The TV itself hasn't changed dramatically compared with last year's C5; the look is very similar, webOS offers comparable features, and gamers again get pretty much everything you'd expect from a modern TV. It's hard to fault that, since the C5 was already a very complete device in that regard. The most import...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED RGB

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 7 II is a TV that shows RGB Mini-LED doesn’t have to be reserved only for the wealthiest customers. And although in a few places you can see it sits below the Bravia 9 II, in everyday use it doesn’t feel like a heavily stripped-down model. The biggest contribution comes from the combination of very good black levels, high brightness and Sony’s excellent algorithms. As a result the pict...

Brand: DREAME

Verdict:

The Dreame Q100 is the manufacturer's entry-level model, and its price alone hints at what to expect. It’s not a TV that tries to win on picture quality. Its strengths lie elsewhere: it has Google TV, surprisingly many features for gamers, and costs relatively little. In terms of picture, the Q100 performs similarly to many other TVs in this price range. The VA panel provides decent contrast, and ...

Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: LG

Verdict:

The LG OLED B6 is a very successful continuation of the B series and a TV that makes a lot of sense as a first step into OLED. It doesn't try to compete with the most expensive models in every respect, but on the most important points it still delivers exactly what many people choose the technology for: perfect black, very high contrast, and a picture that can simply look spectacular in movies. Th...

Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung S90H is a TV that simply makes a spectacular impression. The combination of OLED's absolute blacks, high brightness, and excellent motion sharpness delivers a picture that's hard to look away from. And that's exactly what we expect from a good OLED TV. The matte anti-reflective coating also works very well. Reflections on a sunny day stop being a major problem, and thanks to the presence o...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED PFS LED

Brand: TCL

Verdict:

The TCL A400 Pro is one of the most interesting lifestyle TVs we've tested so far. And not because it turns the whole idea of the "TV as a picture" upside down. In that regard it does roughly what the competition does: it should look good, blend into the interior, and not be just another black slab in the living room. Its real strength lies elsewhere: in picture quality. It's the first TV of this ...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED PFS LED

Brand: SHARP

Verdict:

Sharp JP7765 is another offering in the market that tries to prove that Mini-LED technology doesn’t have to cost a fortune. The low price is matched with an exceptionally high brightness — a peak of 1000 nits in HDR is a result that simply impresses in this price range. Although the proprietary processor doesn’t always manage backlighting perfectly in demanding scenes, support for Dolby Vision eff...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Samsung QN90F is a television that, in many ways, demonstrates how maturely miniLED technology can be developed. It offers great contrast and black levels, very high HDR brightness, which works well for both movies and games, along with a matte panel that makes a huge difference in everyday use. It's this feature that makes the QN90F one of the best televisions for viewing in sunny living room...

Technology: LCD VA, QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung Q8F is quite a successful continuation of the Q67D model. It offers similar picture quality in HDR content, and with a brightness of around 500 nits, it can create an effect that is hard to call average. It is also aided by support for the HDR10+ format, which has been realistically competing with Dolby Vision for some time and provides comparable experiences in many productions. The contr...

Technology: LCD VA, QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Samsung Q7F is the cheapest model from the manufacturer’s QLED line, and it must be admitted that several advantages can be easily pointed out here. After calibration, the colors look really good, and the additional QLED filter makes the hues more saturated than in typical budget LCD TVs. In addition, it has a VA panel, which offers quite decent native contrast. It is definitely not on the lev...
