65-inch LG TVs – Test Rankings

Available screen sizes: 42”, 48”, 55”, 65”

Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: LG

Verdict:

The LG C6 is a very successful evolution of one of the most popular OLEDs on the market. The TV itself hasn't changed dramatically compared with last year's C5; the look is very similar, webOS offers comparable features, and gamers again get pretty much everything you'd expect from a modern TV. It's hard to fault that, since the C5 was already a very complete device in that regard. The most import...

Verdict:

The LG OLED B6 is a very successful continuation of the B series and a TV that makes a lot of sense as a first step into OLED. It doesn't try to compete with the most expensive models in every respect, but on the most important points it still delivers exactly what many people choose the technology for: perfect black, very high contrast, and a picture that can simply look spectacular in movies. Th...

Verdict:

LG MRGB85 is a TV that feels most at home in the hands of gamers and people attached to the webOS ecosystem. In that respect it’s hard to fault. It offers a lot of advantages for gamers thanks to a very high refresh rate panel. On top of that there’s a smooth webOS experience that stands out on the market mainly because of the convenient Magic remote and a full set of features for traditional TV. ...

Verdict:

There’s no doubt the LG G6 is outstanding in places. Thanks to the new 2nd-generation Tandem OLED panel it does something no other glossy-screen display on the market has managed so far: it suppresses reflections brilliantly while keeping perfect, untouched picture quality. Add record brightness and the panel’s unique characteristics, and the G6 can produce images that at times literally knock you...

LG NANO81A is essentially a continuation of the NanoCell series, which has hardly changed over the past few years. Aside from a new operating system, a refreshed remote, and a few marketing additions, we are dealing with practically the same design that we have known for years. Thanks to the nanofilter, the TV is capable of displaying better, cleaner colors than standard budget TVs, and the IPS pa...

The QNED80A variant based on IPS technology targets a completely different audience. If you are looking for a television for a space where life buzzes all day, and family members watch TV from different spots, this will be a good choice. Wide viewing angles and saturated colors ensure that the picture looks good regardless of whether we are sitting directly in front or at the dining table. Of cour...

Verdict:

LG QNED93A is a television that, at first glance, appears to be a solid step forward compared to previous LCD models from this brand. On paper, we get a lot: a significantly larger number of dimming zones, a 144 Hz refresh rate for gamers, support for all HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, and WebOS with a new Magic remote, which still ranks among the most user-friendly operating systems. The QN...

QNED86A6A is a television that really does a great job in its price class when it comes to sports, gaming, and everyday TV watching. The 120 Hz panel makes the picture smooth and the motion sharp, which will be appreciated by both fans and gamers. Additionally, it has low input lag along with a full set of gaming features such as HGiG, VRR, and ALLM. The TV works just as well with a computer as it...

The LG G5 is a television that not only continues but also expands on what we loved about previous models in the G series.
