LG announces the premiere of a new art television at CES 2026. The model named LG Gallery TV aims to combine the aesthetics of a classic painting with modern Mini LED technology and artificial intelligence-based features. The new television will be available in 55 and 65 inches and has been designed for perfect flat wall mounting. The whole is complemented by interchangeable, magnetic frames that allow the screen's appearance to match the interior style – similar to classic works of art.
Mini LED, Alpha 7 AI and Gallery Mode
LG Gallery TV uses a 4K Mini LED panel, supported by the Alpha 7 AI processor. However, the key role is played not by the quality of the movie image itself, but by the special Gallery Mode, developed in collaboration with museum curators. This mode automatically optimizes brightness, colors, and contrast to faithfully represent the texture and character of the displayed works. The TV is also designed to respond to changing lighting in the room, dynamically adjusting the picture settings throughout the day. LG also promises improved anti-reflection and glare reduction, although detailed specifications have not yet been disclosed.
Classic Art and AI-Generated Images
The new model will be fully integrated with the LG Gallery+ service, which is a paid library containing over 4,500 works of art—from classic masterpieces to modern compositions. In addition, users will be able to:
display their own photos,
create AI-generated images,
personalize the screen appearance to resemble a real canvas hanging on the wall.
Competition for The Frame and CanvasTV
Although LG already has experience with gallery-style TVs – including the OLED GX Gallery TV from 2020 – the new Gallery TV is the first model clearly aimed at competing with constructions like Samsung The Frame and Hisense CanvasTV. Everything indicates that LG wants to strengthen its presence in the segment of TVs that serve not only as a screen but also as an element of interior decor.
Premiere at CES 2026
The CES 2026 fair will take place in Las Vegas from January 6–9. It is there that LG will officially present the Gallery TV along with the full specification and additional details regarding availability and pricing.
