Technology: WRGB OLED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The BRAVIA 6 can provide a lot of viewing pleasure, especially in the evening when the strengths of the OLED panel are most apparent. Deep blacks, good contrast and natural colours after calibration mean that, with the right material, its picture is easy to appreciate. It also performs well with a console: it delivers smooth motion and responds quickly to controller inputs. It's pleasing to see fo...

Technology: LCD IPS, White LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 2 II is a television that performs best in simple, everyday use. And we suspect many people will choose it mainly because of Google TV. The system provides access to a huge number of apps and streaming services, and it also includes Chromecast, AirPlay and convenient voice search. The set itself may not run as quickly as more expensive Sony models, but in terms of features there is...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 3 II is a TV that quickly reveals the idea the manufacturer had for this model. It's meant above all to be a sensible Bravia for gaming, and in that respect the changes are substantial. After all, Sony has fixed one of the biggest annoyances of its TVs, the presence of only two full-featured HDMI 2.1 ports. Here there are four, and that alone makes the Bravia 3 II a much more conve...

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED RGB

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 7 II is a TV that shows RGB Mini-LED doesn't have to be reserved just for the wealthiest customers. Although in some areas it's clearly positioned below the Bravia 9 II, in everyday use it doesn't feel like a severely stripped-down model. What really makes the difference is the combination of very good black levels, high brightness and Sony's excellent algorithms. As a result the p...

Technology: LCD VA, RGB MINI-LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony Bravia 9 II is without doubt one of the most advanced televisions that have ever come across our review desk. The Japanese have created a true beast, using an entirely new RGB Mini-LED backlight design that they call True RGB. But the technology alone is only half the success. Only combined with Sony’s finely tuned, years-in-the-making image processing algorithms has a TV emerged that is ...

Technology: LCD IPS, PFS LED

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 3 is a television that brings several important improvements over its predecessor, while remaining true to its core. The biggest change is the design – slim bezels and sturdy metal legs give it a modern appearance that fits much better in a living room than the X75WL. Improved colours thanks to the PFS filter and really good upscaling should also be noted. It is particularly in lower q...

Available screen sizes: 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, 98”

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 5 is a continuation of the iconic X90L model, and it's evident that the manufacturer aimed to take a step forward. A greater number of backlighting zones have been implemented, which makes the contrast seem better in many scenes, and the blacks appear deeper than its predecessor. The 120 Hz panel and MotionFlow system allow the smoothness of the image to be tailored to personal prefere...

Technology: QD-OLED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

The Sony A95L is a television that has left a huge impression on us. Although a year has passed since its release, it still deserves a place among the best models on the market. When it comes to picture quality, it is simply brilliant. Deep blacks, vibrant colours, and excellent brightness in HDR make everything look incredibly realistic. The QD-OLED panel does its job – movies and games look so g...

Technology: PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony X85L is a model from 2023 that will be continued in the offering for 2024 by the Japanese manufacturer. Its greatest advantage is the Google TV system. It currently provides the largest access to applications, so we need not worry that one of our favourite applications will be missing. The intuitive interface and voice control feature using Google Assistant make daily use of the television co...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony X90L is a higher-end model from the Japanese manufacturer that premiered in 2023, but it will successfully continue into 2024 as well. The Sony brand and the name Bravia are associated with excellent picture quality, and this model confirms that reputation – it offers great brightness and very good black levels. Despite having fewer local dimming zones than its competitors, it makes up for th...
