LG has decided to breathe a bit more life into its televisions when they are not displaying series or matches. Thanks to collaboration with the Sedition platform, the LG Gallery+ service has been enriched with over 300 new contemporary artworks. These are not just ordinary "wallpapers" – the collection includes ambitious graphics, video animations, and works that utilise artificial intelligence and biometric data. The whole idea is to make the television in the living room a dynamic image that we can match to the mood or decor of the interior.
From classics to modern experiments
Among the new offerings are series prepared exclusively for LG equipment owners. We can see works by Matt Collishaw (one of the key figures in British art) and digital sculptures by Diego Castro, which blend the world of technology with nature. The entire Gallery+ catalogue now comprises over 5000 items – from traditional painting to gaming atmospheres. Interestingly, the system now allows users to add suitable musical backgrounds to the artwork, aiming to help create a specific atmosphere at home. However, the service requires the latest webOS 25 system, so only owners of new models or those that have received the update will benefit from it.
28 countries on the list, but Poland is missing...
And this is where we come to the least pleasant part of this news. LG has announced that the new collection from Sedition is available in 28 countries. The list includes almost all of Europe – from Germany and France, through Slovakia and Estonia, to Iceland. Unfortunately, Poland is not on this list. Why has our country been overlooked, even though our direct neighbours are already able to test new features? Official communications remain silent on this matter. All we can do is hope that this is a temporary situation and soon someone at headquarters will remember about Polish users.
