Samsung OLED 2026 with NVIDIA G-Sync – Official Support for GeForce

Calendar 2/3/2026

Samsung has officially confirmed that its upcoming line of OLED TVs for 2026 and new Odyssey monitors have received NVIDIA G-Sync certification. Although this may sound like yet another technical novelty to many, in reality, it is an important step towards PC users equipped with the most popular graphics cards in the world.

What is the difference between VRR and Nvidia's G-Sync?

It is worth clarifying one thing: the issue of "screen tearing" or lack of smoothness has been addressed previously by technologies such as VRR or AMD FreeSync, which Samsung has supported for a long time. So why is support for G-Sync so significant? Primarily because Nvidia's graphics cards dominate the market, and the official G-Sync certification is a "stamp of quality". This means that Nvidia's engineers have tested these displays for hundreds of errors, image flickering, and refresh rate stability. For you, (users of GeForce cards), this guarantees that the television will work perfectly with the card without the need to manually "fiddle" with the settings due to issues with image flickering.

Models S95H, S90H and S85H – what do we know about the new series?

Official G-Sync support will be available across the entire main OLED line by 2026. Each of these models offers slightly different specifications tailored to various needs:

  • Samsung S95H and S90H: These are top-end designs that now offer a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.

  • Samsung S85H: A more affordable model supporting a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Additionally, the higher models have received the HDR10+ Advanced standard, which is designed to better manage brightness in supported games. If you're interested

Extreme Refresh Rates in Odyssey G6 Monitors

On the occasion of the announcements about televisions, Samsung also showcased how far the boundaries can be pushed in monitors. The new Odyssey G6 (G60H) is an absolute record-holder, capable of operating at a refresh rate of 1040 Hz in HD resolution. However, if you are looking for better sharpness, in QHD resolution this monitor offers 600 Hz. For those seeking perfect colours, a variation of the Odyssey G6 series has been prepared, namely the G61SH model. This is a monitor with a QD-OLED panel, which offers 240 Hz in QHD resolution. Of course, all these devices also have official support for Nvidia technologies.

For most gamers worldwide who use Nvidia cards, G-Sync certification primarily means peace of mind. When purchasing a Samsung monitor or television from the 2026 series, you can be sure that when connecting your computer, everything will simply work.
