PS Plus is losing a strong title. Sony is removing four games from the catalogue.

Calendar 2/17/2026

Subscribers of PlayStation Plus should prepare for changes in the catalogue. Sony has confirmed that in mid-March, four games will leave the PS Plus Extra offering. The information appeared in the Japanese version of the PlayStation Store and quickly spread throughout the community. Among the titles set to be removed is one of the most beloved co-operative games available in the service. The time to catch up on these games is limited. The productions will be available only until 18 March.

One of the best cooperative games is disappearing

However, the biggest excitement may arise from the disappearance of R-Type Final 3 Evolved. This challenging, classic shoot’em up in a modern edition combines old-school precision with a refreshed graphic style. The game focuses on fast pace, dozens of ship variants, and an extensive weapon system, allowing everyone to tailor their gameplay style to themselves. For genre fans, this is one of the most refined entries in the series and a solid reason to check it out on PS Plus Extra before it is removed.

In addition to it, the catalogue will also lose:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

  • Cris Tales

Each of these games has its audience – from mecha and single-player campaign fans, through lovers of classic shoot’em ups, to jRPG enthusiasts with a unique graphic style. After March 18, these titles will disappear from the PS Plus Extra catalogue and will no longer be available for download as part of the subscription. This is standard rotation of the offer, but this time the list of losses is particularly painful for fans of retro vibes and cooperative fun. If any of these productions are still waiting in your "backlog", now is the last moment to give it a chance.

The March update for PS Plus Extra will bring not only new games but also farewells. Four titles, including the highly rated Shredder’s Revenge, will leave the service on 18 March. Sony continues its rotational catalogue model, so it's worth checking regularly what is disappearing from the offer.
