The catalogue regularly features games that did not have extensive marketing campaigns, did not sell millions of copies, but gained a loyal fan base and very solid ratings. It is these types of titles that often get "buried" under the next releases. If you have a Game Pass and want to discover something less obvious, the following three suggestions are a good starting point.

Alternative version of Sweden from the 80s, abandoned towns and hostile machines patrolling the forests. Generation Zero is a survival shooter set in an open world that emphasises the atmosphere of isolation and a tactical approach to combat.

A classic dungeon crawler in a modern guise. Turn-based combat, a team of heroes, and a plethora of environmental puzzles make this title closer to old-school RPGs than contemporary sandboxes.

Game Pass is not just about big premieres and blockbusters. In the catalogue, you can find less obvious titles that offer fresh ideas and a unique atmosphere. Generation Zero provides tactical survival, The Bard's Tale IV brings back the spirit of classic RPGs, and Submerged focuses on peaceful exploration. If you are looking for something outside the mainstream, these games are definitely worth checking out.
