TCL unveils a new generation of TVs and monitors. The company is targeting the premium segment.

TCL organised an event in Paris showcasing the key new products prepared for the European market in 2026. The manufacturer unveiled a new line of SQD‑Mini LED TVs, its first flagship OLED+ monitors and further models using QD‑Mini LED technology. The company clearly shows it wants to compete with the biggest manufacturers not only in the TV segment but also in monitors for gamers and professionals. The new devices are designed to combine high image quality with modern features that improve user comfort. All the launches are part of TCL’s strategy to further strengthen its position in the European consumer electronics market.

New SQD-Mini LED TVs promise an even better picture

One of the main highlights of the event was the new TVs using SQD-Mini LED technology, an evolution of conventional Mini LED. The manufacturer promises better backlight control, a wider colour gamut and higher peak brightness. Thanks to these new solutions, the TVs should handle HDR content better and offer more precise colour reproduction. TCL also emphasises the development of Super Quantum Dot technology, which is designed to increase coverage of the colour spaces used in modern video content. The new models are aimed at both home users and gamers seeking smooth motion and high frame rates. The manufacturer is also developing features related to intelligent image processing and support for modern HDR standards. With the launch of the new TVs, TCL wants to further cement its presence in the premium segment. The company has been consistently investing in Mini LED development for several years, and the technology remains one of the pillars of its range. All signs point to this direction being pursued in future generations of TVs.

TCL takes it to the next level in the monitor market too

At the event the manufacturer presented its flagship OLED+ monitor in Europe for the first time, which is aimed at competing with the most advanced designs on the market. Alongside it, new models using QD-Mini LED and Mini LED technologies were shown, targeted at both gamers and people working in graphics or video editing. Among the devices shown were the ultrawide 57R94 Dual 4K QD-Mini LED monitor and new 27-inch models. TCL emphasises that developing monitors is a natural extension of the company’s long experience in panel production and display technologies. The manufacturer wants to offer solutions that deliver high image quality both for gaming and everyday work. The new monitors are said to stand out for high brightness, accurate colour reproduction and modern technologies that improve user comfort. The company also says it will continue to expand its premium monitor lineup in Europe. All signs point to TCL planning to compete more boldly with the biggest brands beyond the TV segment as well.
