Pocket projectors XGIMI MoGo 4 and 4 Laser

Calendar 6/16/2025

XGIMI is back with a new generation of its portable projectors. The MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser models are set to be even more compact, even brighter, and even more versatile – and they’ll still fit… roughly where a large coffee cup would go.

Minimalist form, maximum functionality

The new models are direct successors to the successful MoGo 3 Pro, but in a refreshed form and with a few upgrades. Both projectors offer the same compact design and are based on the Google TV system. On board, it features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI port with ARC, and in the box, you'll find a miniature remote that can be magnetically attached to the device's casing. The whole setup stands on an integrated base that allows for 360° rotation.

Battery

One of the biggest drawbacks of the previous model was its limited mobility – without an external power bank, there was no way to watch for longer periods outside the home. Now XGIMI is addressing this issue. MoGo 4 offers about 2.5 hours of operation on the built-in battery in Eco mode, and in the dock, there is a second equally capacious battery. Together, this provides up to 5 hours of viewing.

Laser vs LED – what to choose?

The main difference between the MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser versions is the light source used. The MoGo 4 model is a classic LED with a brightness level of 450 ISO lumens, capable of displaying an image with a diagonal of up to 120 inches in Full HD 1080p. The MoGo 4 Laser features a triple laser setup that boosts brightness to 550 ISO lumens, providing a slightly sharper and more dynamic image.

Prices? Mobility has its value

New models hit the market in June.

  • XGIMI MoGo 4 is priced at around 589 euros, (2599zł)

  • XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser – around 779 euros. (3499 zł)

If you're looking for a projector that you can toss in your backpack and set up in seconds at a holiday cabin, campsite or just in another room – the MoGo 4 and its laser counterpart are a very interesting option. They won't replace a home theatre, but that's not the point of these projectors. It's about freedom, mobility and no cables, and this type of projector is becoming increasingly popular.
