Dreame, a giant in the market of upright vacuum cleaners and robotic cleaners, officially debuts in stores with its TELEVISIONS. The S100 and Q100 models are already on sale, and the brand's strategy is clear: an aggressive price attack while maintaining specifications that cost significantly more with the competition. This is not an accidental move – Xiaomi, a significant shareholder of Dreame, similarly attacked the television market some time ago.
Dreame S100: Mini-LED, QLED, 4.1.2 70W
Model S100 is a showcase of the manufacturer's strength in Mini-LED technology. In the most popular 65-inch variant, we receive 160 zones of local dimming. Although this number is not a record, combined with the quantum coating QLED+ (93% coverage of DCI-P3), it is intended to provide solid contrast and vibrant colours.
In terms of HDR, Dreame focuses on practically all current standards. We have support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG. The manufacturer does not mention anything about new standards like Dolby Vision 2, concentrating on what we can actually use today on popular VOD services.
The true showcase of the S100’s capabilities may be its audio system. A 4.1.2 sound system with 70W power featuring four tweeters and a subwoofer reaching down to 45 Hz is a specification that outclasses most competitors at this price point from the outset. It is one of the few "affordable" televisions that probably won't require the purchase of a soundbar initially.
For gamers, a 144 Hz (VRR) matrix, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and an input lag of below 10 ms have been prepared. Visually, the equipment refers to the brand's DNA, as it is finished with characteristic gold accents.
The Dreame S100 model will be available from 13th February in 2 sizes: 55 and 65 inches. 75" will be available at a later date (date unknown).
Dreame Q100: Google TV and 120Hz?
The Q100 model is a proposal for the less demanding, based on a classic QLED LCD panel without local dimming. This will result in weaker blacks and lower contrast compared to the S100, but the strong point of the device, apart from its low price, remains the Google TV system. This ensures access to all key applications, which is a safe and accurate choice with the entry of a new brand into the market.
However, the biggest controversy concerns the issue of refresh rates. Although official specifications and store cards mention native 120 Hz, advertising brochures use the term “120 Hz HSR MEMC”. This suggests software-enhanced fluidity from the base 60 Hz to 120 Hz (using so-called smoothers). Are we dealing with a natively fast 120 Hz panel or a marketing gimmick? The final answer will only come from our tests, which will verify the actual parameters of this panel.
The Dreame Q100 model will be available from 13 February in 2 sizes: 43 and 55 inches

When are the first tests of Dreame TV?
Dreame enters the game confidently, offering hardware that theoretically stands up for itself on paper. If the quality of the software keeps pace with the strong specifications (which is often not a given with new Chinese brands), there could be significant reshuffling in the RTV market. Soon, we will check how the S100 and Q100 models perform in practice. Let us know if you would like to see tests of Dreame televisions on our site!
