Available screen sizes: 50”, 55”

Technology: LCD VA, White LED

Brand: LG

Verdict:

LG UA7500 in the VA panel variant is a television designed for daily watching of TV, YouTube or streaming platforms, where SDR content still dominates. It performs this role very well – it has decent digital image processing, respectable upscaling and quite consistent tonal transitions. The biggest advantage remains the webOS system, full of applications and features, such as USB recording, AirPla...

Brand: PANASONIC

Verdict:

The Panasonic W85B is a television that aims to prove that the Japanese brand can produce not only high-end devices but also something more "for the people." And indeed — on paper, it looks quite good: a VA panel with solid contrast, high refresh rates of 120/144 Hz, two full HDMI 2.1 ports, and low input lag. It sounds like an excellent set for a gamer or someone who simply wants a cheap televisi...

Technology: LCD IPS, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 3 is a television that brings several important improvements over its predecessor while still staying true to its core. The biggest change is the design – slim bezels and sturdy metal legs make it look modern and fit much better in a living room than the X75WL. The improved colours thanks to the PFS filter and really good upscaling are also a plus. It is particularly with lower-quality...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: XIAOMI

Verdict:

Xiaomi A Pro 2026 is a television that, at first glance, doesn’t reveal significant changes compared to its predecessor. Someone might even think it’s just a copy of last year's model with a different sticker. And there’s some truth to that, as the main novelty, or rather the only noticeable difference, is the 120 Hz mode at lower resolutions. It must be said that Xiaomi has done well here; this a...

Technology: LCD VA, QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung Q8F is quite a successful continuation of the Q67D model. It offers similar image quality in HDR content, and with a brightness of around 500 nits, it creates an effect that is hard to call ordinary. The support for the HDR10+ format also helps, which has been competing with Dolby Vision for some time and provides comparable experiences in many productions. The contrast is another plus – f...

Technology: LCD VA, QLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung Q7F is the cheapest model from the manufacturer’s QLED line, and it must be said that several advantages can be pointed out here without any problem. After calibration, the colours look really good, and the additional QLED filter makes the colours more saturated than in typical budget LCD televisions. It also features a VA panel, which offers quite decent native contrast. This is definitel...

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

Samsung The Frame 2025 is a TV like no other – and even though competition has emerged, it still does it best. The matte display, flush with the wall, and a single thin cable thanks to the One Connect module make the device resemble a painting more than any other screen. The Art Store app still offers the best art scans on the market (even if they are subscription-based), and with interchangeable ...

The U8000F is a very basic television that may find its buyers among those looking for the cheapest Samsung 4K with Smart TV. And that is exactly its purpose. Thanks to the Tizen system, this model offers quite a bit in terms of smart features – the number of applications and possibilities may catch the attention of those who want a reasonably smart device at the lowest price possible. When it com...

Verdict:

Philips PUS9000 is proof that the manufacturer not only keeps a finger on the pulse but also carefully listens to its users. In the latest version of this popular series, there is a clear progression – especially in comparison to the previous generation that we had the opportunity to test. The use of a VA panel has brought noticeable improvement in blacks, which finally presents itself at a decent...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: PHILIPS

Verdict:

Ambilight because that's exactly where we need to start, it's the biggest reason to buy the PUS8500. The three-sided backlighting on the TV looks fantastic, especially in the evening. It creates atmosphere, masks contrast imperfections, and makes viewing simply more enjoyable. Even if the black isn’t perfect here, at high contrast the native VA panel is just good. On top of that, there’s really de...
