Calendar 11/27/2025

Xbox rolls out a major November update – Gaming Copilot arrives in the mobile app, and Windows 11 gets the full screen FSE mode. Check out all the new features, from 1440p cloud streaming to the latest accessories.

Microsoft is launching a series of innovations that really affect how we play. The November update is a mix of AI, improvements for handhelds with Windows 11, new features in Xbox Cloud Gaming, and fresh accessories. The biggest change? Gaming Copilot is landing straight in the Xbox app on smartphones and becomes your personal gaming assistant.

Gaming Copilot (Beta) on mobile now available

Gaming Copilot debuted earlier on consoles and PC, and now it’s available where we often have it at hand: in the Xbox app on your phone. Just go to the Gaming Copilot tab and use the microphone or keyboard.

Copilot operates in real-time and knows what’s happening in your game. You can ask for advice, secrets, tips, builds, and even recall your achievement history. The response is immediate, and the answers are contextual, meaning they are tailored to the gameplay.

Full Screen Experience on more devices with Windows 11

The full-screen mode, known from ROG Ally, is now reaching even more handhelds with Windows 11, as well as laptops, desktops, and tablets through the Xbox Insider and Windows Insider programs. The interface is designed for controllers, works intuitively, and minimizes all distractions. In practice, Windows becomes a console: quick game switching, clean layout, zero unnecessary elements.

Streaming up to 1440p and manual resolution selection

If you're gaming in the cloud, Microsoft is adding something that gamers have long asked for: resolution selection before launching a game. You can manually set the streaming and adjust the quality to suit your internet and screen. In selected games, Xbox Cloud Gaming will now support streaming up to 1440p for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to more countries

The expansion of the cloud is moving fast. Cloud Gaming launches in India

This is the 29th market where cloud gaming is available. In India, you can now stream hundreds of games on phones, PCs, consoles, and compatible TVs.

Support on LG TV and Amazon Fire TV in Brazil and Argentina

Xbox is expanding its infrastructure in South America, reducing wait times for servers and making cloud gaming available on more devices.

Xbox app on more Fire TVs. Soon, the Xbox app will be available on more Amazon devices, including:

  • Fire TV Stick 4K Plus

  • Fire TV Stick 4K Select

  • Fire TV 4-Series TVs

Xbox Design Lab with free engraving

From 28th November to 12th December, every controller purchased from Xbox Design Lab can have free engraving. Name, nickname, motto, anything. Microsoft strongly emphasises that the controller should be as personalised as gaming itself.

New Accessories: Backbone Pro and Limited Edition SpongeBob Pads

Backbone Pro – Xbox Edition

A controller designed for gaming on any screen: phone, tablet, PC, TV or streaming devices. It supports USB-C and Bluetooth, features the ergonomics known from official Xbox pads, and is ready for long mobile sessions.

The November Xbox update is a package of real improvements: AI in your pocket, full-screen mode for handhelds with Windows 11, streaming up to 1440p, cloud gaming entering India, and new accessories. It's one of the bigger sets of changes in recent months and a solid step towards gaming anywhere and on everything.
