Rockstar has finally unveiled the new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the Internet – as expected – immediately exploded. Vice City is alive, the new protagonist promises an exciting story, and the level of detail in the game world... simply knocked us off our seats. But among all the impressive scenes, it wasn’t the chases or sunsets that caused the most stir. It was beer bottles.
Small detail, big effect
In one of the short scenes, the cameras glide through a bar. On the table – an ordinary, seemingly, bottle of beer. But the way it looks and reacts to light has nothing to do with "ordinariness". It’s the realistic texture of the glass, reflections, condensation, and even animated liquid inside – a level of detail worthy of animated films from Pixar. Here, one can see an obsessive attachment to details.
It's not just that it "looks nice". This level of rendering ordinary objects makes the world of GTA VI feel real. It seems like a small thing, but it affects the entire experience.

This is not the first game to feature realistic bottles. But none have come close to this level. In GTA VI, the world not only looks realistic – it lives. Tire tracks on the asphalt, empty food packaging, movements of people in the background – everything gives the impression of a city that functions independently of the player.
